TomTom is not doing great. The developer of navigation software and digital mapping technology is forced to cut 300 jobs.
Due to a reorganization, 300 jobs will be cut at TomTom, known for its navigation software. This means that approximately ten percent of the workforce will disappear, according to ANP. The company says it is choosing a strategy in which AI plays a major role, resulting in job losses.
Earlier this year, it became clear that TomTom’s revenue was declining due to receiving fewer orders from car manufacturers.
