Most are in Brabant
The sales of new caravans and campers in the Netherlands have increased in the first half of this year. This is reported by industry organizations BOVAG and Kampeer en Caravan Industrie (KCI). Of all caravans and campers in our country, most are registered in the province of Noord-Brabant.
In the first six months, 6256 new campers and caravans were delivered, 7.7 percent more than in the same period last year. “There is a lot of economic uncertainty and there is quite a bit going on in the world, but that doesn’t stop the Dutch camper from going out,” says KCI chairman Roel Reineman.
The Netherlands counted almost 630,000 caravans and campers in June, a record number. Of these, more than 17 percent are registered in Noord-Brabant, followed by Gelderland, which owns 14 percent of all caravans and campers.
The demand for second-hand caravans and campers has remained virtually the same.
