The Skoda Epiq is still a while away, but Skoda is already revealing some concrete details. Things remain largely as we expected.
The Skoda Epiq will soon have to prove itself among cars like the Kia EV2 and Citroën ë-C3 Aircross, and it will do so with a starting price of around €25,000. That expected price tag was already mentioned at the unveiling of the study model in early 2024, and Skoda emphasizes that once again now. So, in that almost year and a half, there has fortunately been no need to price it any higher.
Skoda also now reports that the expected maximum range of the 4.10-meter-long Skoda Epiq is ‘more than 400 km’. That is slightly more optimistic than we recently expected. On the other hand, we were still counting on 490 liters of luggage space, but the Czechs seem to have adjusted that slightly downwards. Skoda is now talking about 450 liters, although that is still quite generous for this segment.
Next weekend we will go into more detail about the Skoda Epiq, including illustrations of what the car is likely to look like. Above you can see the production version in its camouflage suit.
