This Fiat Punto actually belongs in a Fiat Museum – Enthusiast

Unsellable for This Price?

Fiat Punto

This Fiat Punto is beautiful, but try selling it. This calls for a very specific target, especially with this asking price.

It’s as if we’re going back almost 30 years in time when we look at the photos of this 1996 Fiat Punto. It still looks beautiful in its fiery red paint, and the interior is absolutely spotless. Under the hood, it also seems like time has stood still. That’s all for one simple reason: this Punto has barely any experience. It may be 29 years old, but with a mileage of only 8,010 km (!), it’s like new.

If it were also an original Dutch car, the picture would be complete, but unfortunately not. You can immediately see from the license plate that it is an imported car and that it was only recently registered in the Netherlands, to be precise on February 19 of this year. We are curious where the car spent its existence before that, but we don’t think it made much difference to the condition of the car. It has almost certainly been stored inside somewhere and has barely seen the outside world.

Fiat Punto

The ‘Punto Selecta’ type plate on the back already reveals that it is a Punto with CVT. Not exactly the fastest choice, and it looks quite modest from the outside. Still, the Punto does have electric windows and a real sliding/tilting roof. The original Blaupunkt radio is also still there, so if you happen to have a stack of cassette tapes somewhere… You also need to have €5,950 lying around, because that is what is being asked for the car, although we suspect that it might be available for less. It remains a lot of money for such a Punto, although with such a mileage it is a unique specimen. Perhaps something for a wealthy collector?
