In the attack
Mercedes-Benz is preparing his largest model offensive in years. Up to and including 2027, Mercedes-Benz comes with no fewer than 30 new models. Exactly half of this is a fully electrical model.
In a presentation for shareholders, Mercedes-Benz looks extensive on the second quarter, but it also looks ahead. It informs its shareholders of what it will be up to and including 2027. That turns out to be a lot. Mercedes-Benz releases thirty newcomers up to and including 2027, half of which is an EV.
It is not entirely clear whether this is completely new or also facing models. We are in the last. In addition, we expect Mercedes-Benz body variants of models to count as a separate model. An example: the CLA Sedan revealed this year counts as two models, which is available with combustion engines and as EV. The CLA Shooting Brake that has already been presented and that will be on the market in 2026 counts in a similar way as two models. For example, Mercedes-Benz is already on four models with only ‘the CLA’, although the CLA does not count in the aforementioned ’30 new models’.
Mercedes-Benz has a lot in the barrel.
Next year – in 2026 – Mercedes -Benz will be released with seven new models with combustion engines. Five of these are in what Mercedes-Benz calls ‘the top segment’, think of cars in the SL and S category. Two new fuel models are what Mercedes-Benz calls ‘Core’ models, one new Benz with combustion engines falls into what the Germans indicate as the ‘entry-level’ class. In the top class, five new electric cars will be built next year, two new models in the Core group and also two in the entry segment.
And in 2027? Then the offensive in particular goes into the top class. Mercedes-Benz launches five new EVs and five new fuel models. The Core group involves two fuel models and one EV, while the entry category only planned one new EV.
More interesting announcements? Are there. For example, Mercedes-Benz comes around the end of this decade with a completely new S-class. Both electric versions and variants come with combustion engines. The dichotomy EQS/S-class will therefore be canceled. We also know that, among other things, an electric equivalent of the C -class – and all the forms that go with it – are the new GLC, a new CAP and a slick electric successor for the AMG GT 4 -through between the newcomers.
On The Attack

In a presentation for shareholders, Mercedes-Benz Looks Back Extensively on the Second Quarter, But It also looks Ahead. It Informs ITS Shareholders of what it will be up to until 2027. That turns out to be QUITE A LOT. Mercedes-Benz Will Launch Thirty Newcomers up to and Including 2027, half or which are evs.
It is not entirely clear Whether thes are purely new or also facelifted models. We are betting on the latter. We Expect Mercedes-Benz to Count Body Variates or Models As Separate Models. For Example: The Cla Sedan Unveiled This Year Counts As Two Models, One with Combustion Engines and One As An Ev. The Cla Shooting Brake, which has Already Been presented and will be launched in 2026, Counts as Two Models in a Similar Way. So Mercedes-Benz Already Has Four Models with Just ‘The Cla’, Although the Cla Does Not Count In The Aforementioned ’30 New Models’.
