The Volkswagen T-Roc is one of the oldest cars in the Volkswagen gamma, but a successor is en route. Now we also get that confirmation from Volkswagen itself, in the form of a real teaser plate.
One of the oldest? Feel free to say the oldest. The Volkswagen T-Roc appeared in 2017, still shares its genes with the previous Volkswagen Golf and, despite some design-technical jewelry, unmistakably has a Volkswagen-Dashboard old style, although that is not necessarily bad news. This is also apparent from the sales figures, because the T-Roc remains popular at the European level.
That makes the launch of a completely new T-Roc, the second generation of this model, only more important. That new T-Roc is upcoming and will soon be unveiled, perhaps at the IAA in Munich. With the previously leaked images and the current T-Roc in mind, this new photo certainly does not produce any surprises. The newcomer is unmistakably a T-Roc, but a bit flatter, more long-brower and more rounded because of its striking C-style and cross-over shape.
