It could be even sharper
The Peugeot 308 is already pretty sharp, but the French add a little extra at the facelift. The electric E-308 also gets a somewhat larger driving range.
Peugeot pulls the canvas of the facelifted 308 and you don’t have to look twice to see that you are dealing with the renewed Peugeot 308. The facelifted Peugeot 308 has a sturdy changed nose with striking black air inlets on the left and right, which lead the riding wind to the wheel arch and have to improve the streamline. What is special is that just above the dim lights are now. The lamps at the very top of the nose are now only for the daytime running lights. The vertical light units visually run into the dark stripes that form the grille. All in all, it is just a bit more in the style of newer Peugeots such as the 3008.
At the rear, the news is a lot less extensive, although every 308 here now gets the diagonal LED strips that so far only showed on the more expensive versions. The interior also remained well known, although new 3D graphics in the standard digital instruments have to give a somewhat fresher impression.
The biggest technical news with the 308 has probably already been. Since the beginning of 2024, the car has already received new hybrid technology and a renewed plug-in hybrid powertrain, with an electric range enlarged to 85 kilometers. It stays, but the fully electric Peugeot E-308 goes beyond before. The action radius of the Peugeot E-308 rises from 416 to around 450 kilometers. A battery that is not a 50.8 kWh net, but now 55.4 kWh in size, contributes to that. We do not yet know a battery with that size at Peugeot and it is therefore not about the powertrain of the previously presented E-408. With 210 hp, the E-408 is also a lot more powerful than the E-308, which again has 156 hp at its disposal. The recovery of the Peugeot E-308 goes with an 11 kW of three-phase loader or a 100 kW-fast charger. With the latter you are 32 minutes to charge from 20 to 80 percent.
If you prefer to just work with fuel power, then there is the mentioned 195 hp plug-in hybrid, but there is also a Hybrid. It has a 145 hp power line. With the Hybrid you have a six-speed automatic transmission with double clutch, the plug-in hybrid has a seven-speed copy.
The renewed Peugeot 308 and 308 SW are available from the fall, we don’t know what they cost yet.
