Renault is not afraid that Chinese brands will take away its market share. “Our competitiveness will be at the same level,” Says the Brand’s New CEO.

The New CEO of Renault Group, François Provost, Who Taked Office at the End of July, is not Afraid of Chinese Brands, Accordination to the Top Executive in an Interview with Automotive News. Provost aims to compete with chinese brands with strong design, products that appeal to emotion, high quality, and a better customer experience.

“Our competitors from China are super efficient in Terms of Costs and Technologies. Our goal is to catch up with them and have the same competitiveness,” Says Provost. “It is my job to continuous the renaulution strategy (initiated by Luca de Meo), to be more agile and flexible as a company in Terms of the Uncertainties we face.” A New Future Plan is also part of these major Intentions. Accordance to automotive news, it will be called ‘futurama’ and will be unveiled in the first half of next year.

Provost is on the same side as Stellantis Chairman John Elkann and Top Executive Jean-Philippe Imparato Regarding the Legislation and Requirements Surrounding New Cars in Europe. Provost is also in favor of more flexible rules for small models to be able to sacrifice them cheaple.
