We have already extensively shown you the brand new and now always fully electric Renault Twingo inside and out. The cheerful retro rocker should have an international starting price of less than €20,000, although it appears that the Dutch starting price will be around or slightly above 20 thousand. In any case, that absolute entry-level version of the Twingo is of course not the variant that Renault has shown so far. The French presented their new darling to the automotive world on 18-inch alloy wheels and packed with options and accessories. AutoWeek can now give you a first glimpse of the basic version. Renault told us at the introduction of the new Twingo that the basic version will have 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers. Among the many miniatures that Renault offers in its online store, we find a red miniature of the new Renault Twingo that is designed as if it has hubcaps. These are somewhat quirky designed black wheel covers with an interrupted white stripe and a white Renault logo in the center.
The miniature – like a green and more elaborately decorated version – can be ordered in scales of 1:64 and 1:43. For those who are taken with the new Twingo and cannot wait to make the first meters with it, Renault offers a push car with Twingo design.
