The Skoda summit

Skoda is coming with a hefty electric family car. It will be a seven-seater SUV. We can now tell you when it’s coming and what it’s called: Skoda Peaq.
Skoda is firmly pressing the accelerator pedal. This year we will get acquired with the new smallest and largest electric Skodas. The Skoda Epiq will be an electric crossover in what is referred to as the B-segment. At the other end of the spectrum, the Czechs are parking a large family car. ‘But Skoda already has the Enyaq?’ – we hear you thinking. That’s right. Skoda’s new flagship will be a size larger and will be positioned above it.
In 2022, Skoda already gave a fairly concrete glimpse of what to expect from the new model with the Vision 7S concept car. We didn’t know a name yet, until now: Skoda Peaq. In terms of dimensions, number of seats, and space, it is therefore the Skoda summit, as the name seems to suggest. The model name Peaq is somewhat surprising. Previously, every electric Skoda model name started with an E and ended with a Q. It seems that an electric Skoda getting a name that starts with an E is no longer necessary.
The Skoda Peaq will make its public debut this year. It will be unveiled in the summer. At a later stage, Skoda will release an electric station wagon, although you’ll have to wait years for that.
