In the Netherlands, the Skoda Elroq was the most popular new passenger car in 2025. In an even smaller and much sunnier European country, a car that costs at least nearly €200,000 in the Netherlands was the most popular new car: the Porsche 911.

There has to be a difference. In the tiny principality of Andorra, the Porsche 911 was the absolute king of the car market. Last year, 86 Porsche 911s were sold in the principality nestled between Spain and France, allowing the 911 to claim the title of ‘most popular new car in Andorra’ in 2025, just like in 2024. In 2025, 16 percent more Porsche 911 models were registered than a year earlier. In second and third place, we see cars at the other end of the automotive spectrum: the Toyota Yaris Cross and the Seat Arona.
