Meet the Engler Mosslr, a car that – although his name may make the shellfish lovers among us otherwise suggest – has nothing to do with the bin -valve molluscs. What is a strong link with: between the open colossus and the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR and the later homage to it: the SLR Stirling Moss.
Mercedes-Benz brought a tribute to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR in a special way with the SLR McLaren-and in particular with the SLR Stirling Moss limited in 2009-in 2009. The small and still young company Engler, which presented this FF in 2019, now comes with its own continuation of the SLR festival: the Engler Mossslr.
Just like the SLR Stirling Moss that preceded him in a different bloodline, the Engler Mossslr is an open piece of automobile excess without significant windshield. The colossus comes in three flavors: as 750, as 1,000 and as V12. The first two have a 750 hp or 1,000 hp V8. The twelve -cylinder is 850 hp strong and must help the Mosslr at a top speed of 322 km/h. The 1,000 hp version with V8 is of course the fast. He finds the ‘accelerating’ phenomenon only at a speed of far above 350 km/h something that should be a thing of the past.
