AC Cars has been firing off one new model after another into that special corner of car land that you might wonder how relevant it really is. The company has recently been proving that something doesn’t have to be relevant to be incredibly fun with creations like the AC GT Coupé and the AC GT Roadster. Now there’s a third: the AC GT SuperSport.
The AC GT SuperSport is unique in every way. It is an extra intense variant of the AC GT Roadster, limited to 25 units worldwide. Under the hood of the fun machine, overloaded with aerodynamic extras – including a hefty rear spoiler – lies a beastly V8. It sends a whopping 1,039 hp to the rear wheels. The automobile toy for the wealthy in car land has a wider track than the regular AC GT Roadster, is equipped with a body kit all around, and is above all expensive. The starting price in the United States starts at a converted €470,000. And that’s excluding local taxes…
