Bentley sends electric SUV to the Nürburgring

Bentley SUV spy shots

There are quite a few Bentleys that are more stimulating in terms of sportiness than the car we see here, but this one must also prove itself on a circuit sooner or later.

When we think of a Bentley on the Nürburgring, we mainly think of a thick coupé with a roaring V8 and screeching tires. Here we also see a Bentley and the tires will undoubtedly have screeched considerably, but otherwise it is mainly a different story. This is Bentley’s first electric model and it is also an SUV. This ‘Luxury Urban SUV’ may be called Bernato or Mayon, as we discovered earlier.

We are also almost certain which technical basis Bentley will use for it. It is probably on the same platform as the Audi Q6 e-tron and electric Porsche Macan. You can then count on up to 600 hp of power and four-wheel drive. Then we understand that Bentley wants to try that out on the Nordschleife. Unfortunately, no camouflage has been removed from the car since last time. Despite that, it is already clear that Bentley is trying to mislead us with cutouts in the stickers. These should make it look like the SUV has round lights, but the Bentley EXP 15 showed last summer that Bentley is going in a different direction in terms of design. As far as we can see now, the SUV will have horizontally oriented lighting, in contrast to that concept car.
