The BMW 5 Series is about to undergo a very thorough facelift, and that means the M5 won’t escape it either. We see it on these photos at the Nürburgring.
BMW’s design language is undergoing a thorough overhaul, and not only the all-electric ‘Neue Klasse’ models will benefit from this in the future. Fuel models will also join in the renewal, and that also applies to the current 5 Series, which is not that old yet. It will get a major facelift, with the nose in particular changing considerably.
On these photos, thanks to the better light, we can see a little better than last time how that turns out for the M5. The front will be very different, with a much wider grille and headlights that continue in the horizontal lines of the grille. At the rear, it remains more familiar. We are curious whether BMW will still tinker with the M5’s impressive 727 hp plug-in hybrid powertrain.
