Stylish
Those who like to drive in a very luxurious and very special way can now also contact a new American car manufacturer. Dacora enters Rolls-Royce territory with a very special-looking EV.
There are heaps of start-ups in the automotive industry that immediately target the very rich with extremely exclusive, luxurious and sporty creations. More often than not, this does not lead to success. So it remains to be seen what will become of the American Dacora. In any case, the first creation looks nicely striking. It is a battleship clearly inspired by pre-war top limousines. Dacora says that a super-luxury experience is part of it due to a generous equipment and the use of high-quality materials. For example, the dashboard of the handmade car can be made of special types of wood, and the body is also partly decorated with wood.
The Dacora, which was designed in collaboration with Pininfarina, is fully electric and the specifications are also appropriate for a super-luxury top limousine. Dacora promises ‘more than 800 hp’ of power and a range of around 650 km. Incidentally, the Dacora can ultimately also be supplied with a hybrid powertrain if desired. The price tag should amount to at least around 440,000 euros. We are eagerly awaiting what the manufacturer operating from New York, founded by Kristie and Eric D’Ambrosio-Correll, can make of it in the coming years. According to Dacora, there are already 1.5 times as many orders as can be built in the first year of the car.
