Electric BMW ‘M3’ now also on public roads

Four-engined Monster

BMW M3 Spyshots

Here’s the new BMW M3. At least, the sporty top version of the electric 3-series-like car, which will logically be called i3 soon. So this is actually the iM3, or something like that. It’s strong anyway.

It remains to be seen exactly what name BMW will give it, but here we see in any case the top version, undoubtedly indicated with an M, of the upcoming electric 3-series counterpart. That it concerns the ‘i3’ is not so easy to see at all, because the new BMW 3-series looks very similar. What gives it away is the shorter nose. There are also no exhausts under this car and even with such heavy camouflage you would see them on a new M3. A new BMW M3 is also simply in the pipeline again.

Back to this ‘iM3’. That will be something. Recently, BMW itself previewed it with the Vision Driving Experience, of which BMW once said that it puts 18,000 Nm of torque on the scale. Disturbed. The production car will logically be a lot less powerful, but with four motors (one per wheel) that also promises to be a considerable powerhouse. It could well be that it will soon exceed 600 hp in terms of power. We are initially counting on a unveiling in the new year. First it is the turn of the new iX3, as the first ‘Neue Klasse’ model from BMW, and the regular i3.
