Fast with a reason
There are matters that must be delivered as quickly as possible and therefore cannot be entrusted to DHL, PostNL or UPS. In some cases, these are matters that can save someone’s life. For such urgent transport of organs and blood, Stellantis has delivered two high-speed cars to the Carabinieri.
The Carabinieri has had several Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio models in its fleet for years, and now one more is being added. This one gets an extra important task. The 520 hp top Giulia will be used for organ and blood transport. Even in the world of urgent transport, there’s always someone above. Thus, the Giulia Quadrifoglio in the fleet will be joined by a Maserati MCPura that will serve the same function. As a reminder: the MCPura is the renewed version of the MC20 and has a 630 hp V6 engine behind the front seats.
The new duo was delivered at the Carabinieri headquarters in Rome, in the presence of among others the General Commander, Gen. CA Salvatore Luongo. From the outside, you can recognize the duo by the Carabinieri color scheme.
