In A Statement, The Company Reports That Staff, Partners And Suppliers Have Been Informed About The Extended Production Halt In The Factories, Including Those in the United Kingdom and Slovakia. Immediately after discovering the cyberattack, JLR Tok the Systems offline to limit the impact. The Forensic Investigation Into The Attack is still ongoing.
The CONSEQUESCES Extend Beyond Just the JLR Production Locations and Affect The Company’s Entire Supply Chain. Sky News Reported Last Week that JLR Suppliers in the United Kingdom Have Already Temporarily Laid Off Around 6,000 Employees.
