Find the differences

In recent years, numerous, if not dozens of car brands have introduced a new or updated logo. Now Mazda is doing the same.
On the exhibition floor of the Japan Mobility Show, Mazda has two concept models that are sure to attract considerable attention. The visually most impressive is the Vision X-Coupe, a vehicle over five meters long with a powerful 510 hp plug-in hybrid featuring a special combustion engine. This is a rotary engine with two rotors and a turbo. The second show car is called Vision X-Compact and appears to be a preview of a new compact hatchback. There is more news, although it’s smaller in nature. Mazda has a new logo.
Like many car brands in recent years, Mazda is now introducing a slightly simplified version of its logo. Mazda describes the new brand symbol as an embodiment of Mazda’s ‘unwavering conviction and continuous dedication to shaping the future.’ Unwavering, nicely put. The new logo still consists of a somewhat elegant M as was introduced in mid-1997. According to Mazda, the tighter version of the logo improves its visibility, particularly online. The new logo also comes with new typography: ‘Mazda’ will now be written in a different font.
The new logo and new typography will be gradually rolled out, Mazda reports.
