And the Frontera then?

Opel might be interested in its own version of the relatively affordable Leapmotor B10. The Opel-ized Leapmotor would occupy a remarkable position in the Opel lineup.
Opel doesn’t lack electric models. Especially not electric crossovers and SUV-like vehicles. Opel’s high-powered EV lineup starts with the €30,000, 4.4-meter long Frontera Electric. One step above that is the smaller but more expensive Opel Mokka Electric, which costs at least €33,999. That Mokka, in turn, must tolerate the considerably larger Grandland Electric above it, which starts at €44,000. Among all these tall EVs, there might be room for another model, Opel probably thinks.
Opel is considering adding its own version of the Leapmotor B10 to its delivery lineup. This is written by the normally well-informed Automotive News Europe based on an anonymous source within Stellantis.
The Leapmotor B10 is an electric SUV that is 4.52 meters long. This makes it only a few centimeters shorter than a Volkswagen ID4, but it’s about €12,000 cheaper. The Leapmotor B10 starts from €28,000. An Opel derivative of it would – if we start the speculation mill – probably be a few thousand euros more expensive. If Opel actually comes with its own variant of the B10, it would mean they can offer a 4.5-meter long electric SUV for around €30,000. In terms of price, that model would be at a similar level as the Frontera, though you’d get a ten centimeter longer SUV for it. We’re very curious about how Opel exactly envisions this.
The production of the Leapmotor B10 for the European market will take place in Europe by the way. This might lead to a small reduction in prices.
