The Bentley Bentayga Concept X is like a snowman in a sauna

For those who find a normal Bentayga too stately

Bentley Bentayga Concept

Is the Bentley Bentayga too chic for you? Then grab a pen and paper and write to Bentley to request a production version of this Bentayga Concept

The Bentley Bentayga has existed for years in various flavors. The cousin of the Audi Q7, Lamborghini Urus, and Volkswagen Touareg is available as an extended Bentayga Extended Wheelbase, as Azure, and for example, as the mighty Speed. A variant with off-road embellishments does not exist, but nevertheless, the English seem to be toying with the idea of introducing such an off-road variant. This is the Bentley Concept

The Bentley Bentayga Concept X is an off-road version of the Bentayga that is entirely focused on tearing through snow and ice. This hitherto unique variant is based on the Bentayga Speed and therefore has the same 650 hp strong 4.0 V8 with two turbos under the hood. It stands 5.5 centimeters higher on its wheels, has longer suspension travel, can wade through streams and rivers up to 55 centimeters deep, and has a track width that is 12 centimeters wider. To prevent the 22-inch light alloy wheels and the off-road tires wrapped around them from rubbing against the wheel arches, the wheel arches have been widened by four centimeters on both sides.

Bentley makes no secret of the fact that with the Bentayga X Concept, it wants to find out if there is a market for an off-road version of the normally ‘stately’ Bentayga. Should that production version come, you naturally won’t get the ice kart on the roof. Neither will the spotlight, but the Akrapovic exhaust under the SUV might be included.
