Are you sure you want a Land Rover Defender Octa, but do you want to choose nothing else? Then go for the new Defender Octa Black, because then the car will be executed as standard as you probably had already ordered anyway.
Forgive us the somewhat cynical approach of this story, but creatively we can call such a ‘black edition’ impossible. Over the years, countless models have appeared these types of versions, whereby the car is carried out from head to toe in jet black. That is of course a bit unimaginative, especially in a world in which 9 out of 10 Defenders are already delivered in black. On the other hand: there is a market for it, so why should Land Rover (or ‘Defender’) not be allowed to earn from that?
Land Rover proudly reports that no fewer than thirty ‘exterior elements’ of the Octa were carried out in black, whereby it does not become clear whether the five tires are individually or as a whole. The special wheels of the Octa are of course also in black, although a variant with polished elements is actually available. The interior is – you guessed it – black, and of course packed with luxury.
The color cartridge of the printer is not having a hard time printing the brochure. The black on the other hand …
The Defender Octa is the new top model of the Defender series. It is always an 110 (the medium) and it has no less than 635 hp, pops from 0 to 100 in 4 seconds and costs almost 3 tons in the Netherlands without options. Do not think that the regular version of the Octa excels in color options: two shades are available for the exterior, supplemented by two (gray) shades for the Octa Edition One.
