It wasn’t the most expressively designed Saab, but a Saab 9-3 Coupé like this is a special sight. This one is also in good condition. That calls for an owner with refined taste.
Many car manufacturers have left us over the years, but not all of those names are still mourned daily. Saab, however, is. It still has a very loyal fanbase in the Netherlands, with some seeming to believe that Saab is the greatest loss in the history of the car industry. That is debatable, but Saab has a number of very nice and striking cars to its name. This Saab 9-3 belongs to perhaps the less outspoken part of Saab history, yet we understand that various people are very enthusiastic about it.
With its historically responsible shapes, a 9-3 Coupé like this is still a striking appearance 26 years later. It looks nicely quirky, especially inside. This one also has a beautiful color scheme in the interior, which makes the particularly sleek dashboard stand out nicely. A major danger of such light fabric upholstery is that it becomes very dingy over time. That doesn’t seem to be the case here. The fact that the 9-3 has only driven 104,000 km also fits well with that picture. This looks like a fresh car.
The Saab remained with its first owner from new until 2024. That undoubtedly played an important role in aging well. Last year, someone else decided to drive the car for a while, but they quickly got tired of it again. That doesn’t have to mean anything, but it is something to be aware of. Perhaps there is some misfortune hidden under the handsome cover. For the asking price of €5,999, the car must be just as technically convincing as it is cosmetically.
