Nissan Micra costs just under thirty mille for the time being

Waiting for the Entry-Level Model

Nissan Micra

The new Nissan Micra has received its first Dutch prices. It starts at just under €30,000.

At the end of May, we were introduced to the all-new and now always electric Nissan Micra. The cousin of the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric seemed to be coming to the order books towards the end of the year, but now we already know what it will cost for the time being. It starts at €29,950 for the Nissan Micra with a 120 hp electric motor and 40 kWh battery. With a full battery, it can travel up to 319 km, slightly further than previously reported. Fast charging is possible with 80 kW of power on this version, which for this price is equipped as the Engage Launch Edition. It is possible that a slightly more modestly equipped Engage will follow later. In terms of price, this Micra is approximately at the level of the Renault 5 Urban Range Techno, but the R5 with this powertrain is also available in the two grand cheaper Evolution version.

Nissan Micra Engage Launch Edition

If you prefer the Nissan Micra with 150 hp of power and the 52 kWh large battery, you will have to reserve €35,090 for the time being. That is what the new Micra costs as the Advance Launch Edition. It not only has more power and a clearly larger range of 419 km, but also includes a reversing camera, twelve parking sensors, integrated Google infotainment, a wireless phone charger and adjustable ambient lighting. In addition, you can charge the larger battery with up to 100 kW at the fast charger. This is almost at the level of the most expensive R5, the Roland-Garros, in terms of price. You can bet that this is also a very richly decorated Micra.

But wait a minute, the Renault 5 is already available from just under 25 grand, isn’t it? That’s right, but that has everything to do with a third powertrain that has not yet been announced for the Micra. In this case, a 95 hp electric motor is attached to the 40 kWh large battery pack. It also does not have a heat pump and fast charging is not possible at all. It remains to be seen whether the Micra will soon also be available with this hardware in the order lists.
