Screen as Grille

Grilles are increasingly disappearing from the automotive industry, and screens are playing an increasingly important role. This FX Super One MPV from Faraday Future is almost the ultimate embodiment of that.
An electric car doesn’t need a grille in principle, and that’s why grilles are increasingly being omitted. At the same time, we are seeing more and more screens being stuck in and on cars. These two developments are combined in this FX Super One. There is an absolutely immense screen on the front of the somewhat van-like MPV. All kinds of things can be displayed on the screen. Faraday Future, the parent company of the new brand Faraday X under which the Super One falls, calls the screen a ‘Front AI Communication Ecosystem’ in the press release. Right.

The Wey 80 on which the FX Super One is based
But well, what else does the FX Super One have to offer? Well, in essence it is a Wey 80, an MPV from Great Wall subsidiary Wey already on the market in China. The ties between the American-operated Faraday Future and China have been close for some time, and this is now becoming clear again.
The more than five-meter-long FX Super One MPV is fully electric or a plug-in hybrid, four-wheel drive, offers space for up to seven people and should offer a super luxurious experience to the occupants thanks to luxurious seats, optional large screens and an AI assistant. It is not yet known what the FX Super One will cost, but interested parties in the US can already make a down payment of 100 dollars.

The dream: camping with a fake campfire on the nose of your American-Chinese MPV.
