The Slovak torsus has already passed by on this site and specializes in everything that is practical and can be off -road. For example, we saw a school bus for children who go to school deep in the jungle and the regular Torsus Terra storm has been around for some time. The Terrastorm is an off-road version of the Volkswagen Crafter or Man TGE (two names for the same animal). Volkswagen’s own 4Motion system receives help from a 40 mm-raised chassis, huge site tires, a bullbar and extra lighting.
The same Torsus Terra storm is now also there as an ambulance, and that is the (admitted: thin) news from today. That is actually ‘just’ a terrace storm, but with an ambulance interior instead of up to 21 regular seats. Torsus makes the terrastorm available as ambulance of type A, type B or type C, which stands for less urgency, a lot of urgency or ‘intensive care’ respectively. The idea of all three is of course the same: this is the ambulance for places where a regular ambulance cannot come. The Terrastorm is available from 130,000 euros and that is not too bad for us.
