Nice deal
The Volvo V60 is of a dying species. Sedan brother Volvo S60 is no longer produced and the V60 no longer has long. Before we kiss him goodbye, Volvo introduces the Performance Edition.
Volvo is now swinging up the V90 and small brother V60 probably no longer has a long future. However, it is not over and out for Volvo’s competitor of cars such as the BMW 3-series Touring, Audi A5 Avant and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate. Volvo adds a new version to the delivery range of the V60. It is even available in two versions, although it can only be combined with the thickest motor version.
For those who missed it: the Volvo V60 is still available as a 197 hp Mild-hybrid B4 and is in two plug-in hybrid flavors on the price list. Those who want to plug around, can go for the 350 hp powerful V60 T6 AWD plug-in Hybrid or for the no less than 455 hp V60 T8 AWD plug-in Hybrid. It is the latter and therefore strongest plug-in hybrid V60 that now becomes available as a performance edition. This replaces the previous versions in which the V60 T8 Plug-in Hybrid was available.
The regular plus and ultra versions in which the Volvo V60 T8 Plug-in Hybrid was available make way for the Plus Performance Edition and the Ultra Performance Edition. Just as with the plus and ultra versions earlier, both Performance Editions can be combined with the Bright and Dark exterior theme.
The Volvo V60 T8 AWD Performance Edition squeezes 92 electric kilometers from its battery and rushes from a standstill in 4.6 seconds to a speed of 100 km/h. Furthermore, polestar engineered software is standard, just like black logos all around.
For the V60 T8 AWD Plug-in Hybrid Plus Performance Edition you have lost at least € 58,995. Volvo asks € 62,995 for the richer -equipped Ultra Performance Edition. That’s a good deal! They are exactly as expensive as the 350 hp V6 T6 AWD plug-in Hybrid in Plus and Ultra version!
