You might not immediately associate the fully electric Lexus RZ with sporty driving, but that changes with this F Sport Performance treatment.
With the Lexus RZ, you can get going pretty quickly. At least, certainly if you have it as the beefy 400 hp RZ 550e Direct 4. Lexus took that version by the scruff of the neck and added another sporty layer to it. The result is this Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance. To start with, at 425 hp, it’s just a tad stronger than the 550e and thus deserves its higher number in the model name. The ‘F Sport Performance’ part after it already indicates that more is going on.
Lexus has lowered the car by 20 mm, it has larger brake discs, and a range of aerodynamic extras are included. The most striking features are, of course, the two (!) spoilers at the back. There’s little left of subtlety with this RZ. It’s available in two two-tone color schemes, with the black-and-white scheme being new. At least, the matte white HAKUGIN II. Go ahead and name it a paint color. The whole thing looks spectacularly good, at least. Now it’s just a matter of waiting to see if we can order such an RZ here too. For now, it seems like a purely Japanese party.
