Volvo EX60

Volvo is preparing for the launch of the EX60. The Volvo EX60 is the electric alternative to the XC60 and is the first Volvo to be delivered with Gemini.

Volvo hopes to translate the concept of the popular XC60 to the electric segment. Very soon – on January 21 – we will get acquired with the electric Volvo EX60. The Volvo EX60 will be the first Volvo on the new SPA3 platform with 800V onboard voltage. It is also the first Volvo to be delivered with Gemini, Google’s AI assistant. That means: happily chatting with and against your Volvo.

The Volvo EX60 will receive what Volvo describes as the latest version of HuginCore. HuginCore is the collective name for the electrical architecture, software, and computer systems on board the SUV. For enthusiasts and connoisseurs: “[…] the EX60 is equipped with the Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platform from Qualcomm Technologies. […] the heart of the EX60 is formed by the NVIDIA DRIVE platform, with accelerated computing power based on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin system-on-a-chip, running on the safety-certified DriveOS operating system.” We couldn’t have put it better ourselves..

More concrete information: the Volvo EX60 has a range of up to 810 kilometers and can recharge 340 kilometers in ten minutes with a 400 kW charger. Be sure to return to AutoWeek on January 21 for all photos, information, and specifications of the Volvo EX60.
