Renewed Opel Astra is considerably cheaper than the pre-facelift version

Mostly more for less

Opel Astra

The Opel Astra was recently subtly renewed. The renewed Opel Astra will not be more expensive, but rather cheaper than the version it replaces. AutoWeek has the prices.

Earlier we were able to tell you meticulously on which points the renewed Opel Astra distinguishes itself from the original presented in 2021. In a nutshell: the Astra has a renewed front, less chrome, more LED, and the electric Astra Electric has a new battery and V2L functionalities. There is also technical news for the plug-in hybrid Opel Astra. It has a larger electric range and a higher system output of 196 hp. What does all that cost? Less than before.

Depending on the chosen engine version and trim level, the renewed Opel Astra is about €1,500 to even €4,000 cheaper than before. Particularly the Edition and GS trim levels benefit from the price reductions. An Opel Astra with a 145 hp strong mild-hybrid petrol engine is now available from €35,999. For the plug-in hybrid, you pay a minimum of €37,499, while the electric Astra with its starting price of €36,699 is exactly in between. The surcharge for the station wagon Astra Sports Tourer is €1,000.
