Toyota has something new behind the scenes. It appears to be a new large electric SUV. A big EV brother, so to speak, for the Toyota bZ4X and bZ4X Touring.
Toyota is being mysterious and says it has something new in the pipeline. It shows a shadowy image. Even if we illuminate it, nothing new can be discerned from it. However, it looks like the rear end of what is very likely a new and probably electric SUV. We also saw part of this car years ago at an earlier stage.
In 2021, Toyota launched an arsenal of new concept models into the world. Product versions of some of these have already been presented. One of the conceptual new Toyotas we were shown a few years ago was the bZ Large SUV Concept. Indeed: a preview of a large electric SUV with three rows of seats. So it’s quite possible that Toyota will soon show the production version of it. For now, only Toyota USA is sharing the shadowy teaser image. Whether that means that Toyota’s new large electric SUV will remain a party celebrated only in the United States remains to be seen.
