Drukte op de weg
De ANWB verwacht vanaf komende vrijdag extra drukte op de weg om het feest voor de 750e verjaardag van Amsterdam en de NAVO-top. Daarnaast zal recreatieverkeer ook voor extra files zorgen, verwacht de ANWB.
Het 750-jarig bestaan van de hoofdstad wordt gevierd met een evenement op de A10. Vrijdagavond om 21.00 uur worden de A10 West, Zuid en Oost afgesloten tussen de verbinding met de A5 en de verbinding met de A1 en zaterdag barst het feest los. Zondag om 15.00 uur is de weg weer vrij. De buitenring blijft open voor hulpdiensten en openbaar vervoer. De ANWB verwacht extra drukte op de omliggende wegen.
Vanaf zondagmiddag worden meerdere wegen tussen Amsterdam en Den Haag afgesloten om de NAVO-top. Weggebruikers moeten tot vrijdagochtend 27 juni rekening houden met wegafsluitingen en verkeersstops tussen de hoofdstad en de hofstad, waar de top plaatsvindt.
Ook komende donderdag wordt drukte op de weg verwacht omdat Duitsers dan om een feestdag naar Nederland gaan voor een dagje of lang weekend. Volgens de ANWB merken weggebruikers daar vooral wat van bij de grensovergangen, outletcentra en op Zeeuwse wegen. Daarnaast gaat de camping van het festival Pinkpop donderdagmiddag open, waardoor het drukker wordt op de A2 en A76 richting Landgraaf.

Traffic is also expected on the road next Thursday because Germans will then go to the Netherlands for a day or long weekend for a public holiday. According to the ANWB, road users will mainly notice this at the border crossings, outlet centers and on Zeeland roads. In addition, the campsite of the Pinkpop festival will open on Thursday afternoon, which will make it busier on the A2 and A76 towards Landgraaf.
