Bentley’s as-yet unnamed new SUV has been resurfaced in test guise. This time we see the nose a bit more as it actually is.
Bentley is busy testing a brand new SUV and previously managed to cleverly disguise it. With strategically placed openings in the camouflage, the impression was given that the new model, like its sibling Bentayga, would get double headlights, but nothing could be further from the truth. The currently photographed example has camouflage that less obscures the car’s actual nose. It can therefore be seen that the SUV will almost certainly get just one headlight per side, possibly with a strip of LED lighting above it that functions as daytime running lights and turn signals.
Such a huge design shift as suggested by the Bentley EXP 15 last year does not seem to be happening, but it will certainly not be a Bentayga copy either. The powertrain is also a completely different story, as we are dealing with a fully electric model here. This SUV, possibly named Bernato or Mayon, is almost certainly based on the PPE platform, just like the already available Audi Q6 e-tron and Porsche Macan Electric. So, if we look at those cars, we estimate this Bentley will have well over 600 electric horsepower. You can also understand why Bentley has already taken it to the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
