The BMW 5 Series is awaiting a very significant facelift, and that means the M5 must also undergo it. Here we see the BMW M5 Touring with its new nose.
Do BMW’s new design language, including that of the new iX3, appeal to you? Then count yourself lucky that fuel models also get this new treatment. The BMW 5 Series is thus undergoing a genuine transformation, as its still relatively conventional front, in particular, is being overhauled. Instead, the 5 Series gets a nose with a much more minimalist design, with headlights that blend almost seamlessly into the ‘kidneys’ that have characterized the front of BMWs for years.
How do we know for sure? Well, among other things, the new BMW M5 sedan has already been spotted with this new nose. This time we see the BMW M5 Touring, and in that regard, it doesn’t really hold any surprises for us. Additionally, we already know that the V8’s power has decreased slightly, but that doesn’t detract from the system output of 727 hp. BMW might find a bit more power with the facelift. We expect the unveiling of the facelifted BMW 5 Series this year, and the M5 will likely follow swiftly.
