The fully electric Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ technology has just been unveiled, and already a completely stickered-up example is driving around. It probably hides a third row of seats.
Imagine walking into the Mercedes-Benz showroom and saying, ‘Good afternoon, I’m here to look at a Mercedes-Benz GLC 400 4Matic with EQ technology and seven seats.’ Quite a mouthful, time for a second cup of coffee. This could well become a reality, because it looks like the electric GLC is going to start a third row. In these spy photos we see the GLC with EQ technology, especially with a heavily taped third side window. That is of course not done just like that.
That a GLC with EQ technology with seven seats is coming is not very surprising. With its normally already 570 liters of luggage space, this GLC is a lot more spacious than its fuel brother, so this is a logical choice. Not only that, it is a lot less bad here to give up some luggage space; the GLC with EQ technology also has a 128 liter frunk . Even with the whole car full of people, there is still reasonably much luggage space left if all goes well.

As if that wasn’t enough: it seems that this copy is even a bit longer than the regular GLC with EQ technology. After the C-pillar, the window line at the top seems to slope less steeply and the D-pillar also seems to be more upright. Mercedes-Benz is clearly up to something to create more space. The seven-seater GLC will probably not be present until far into the new year.
