Very competitive price

Leapmotor likes to offer a lot for relatively little, at least on paper. It proves this with the favorably priced C10, among other things. Leapmotor is now focusing on a smaller SUV: the B10. With its length of over 4.5 meters, it is almost as large as a Volkswagen ID4, but it costs a good €12,000 less.
Leapmotor started its European adventure with the T03, a compact electric hatchback with a starting price of €19,950. The only other model that the Chinese manufacturer – which has joined forces with Stellantis in Europe – delivers here is the considerably larger C10. That SUV stretches over a distance of approximately 4.75 meters, making it ten centimeters longer than a Skoda Enyaq. But it is considerably cheaper. The Leapmotor C10 with a fully electric powertrain is available from €39,050 and costs the same with a smaller battery and a range extender. For comparison: the considerably smaller Peugeot e-2008 – an electric cross-over in the B-segment – costs €36,700 as an extra favorably priced Style Advantage and is therefore quite close. Leapmotor is now introducing the B10 in the Netherlands and it is even more attractive for the wallet than the C10.
Larger and cheaper than Peugeot e-2008
The Leapmotor B10 costs €27,995 in the Netherlands. For that money you get an electric SUV that is 4.52 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2.74 meters. For comparison: a Volkswagen ID4 is almost €12,000 more expensive, but is only a few centimeters larger. The starting price of the Leapmotor B10 is even a generous €8,705 below that of the aforementioned e-2008, even though the latter is more than 20 centimeters smaller.
What does the Leapmotor B10 have to offer? A 218 hp and 240 Nm electric motor and a 56.2-kWh battery. That combination is good for a range of 361 kilometers. In that area, the entry-level B10 has to tolerate the smaller but weaker (156 hp) Peugeot in front of it; it goes up to 406 kilometers. Leapmotor’s solution: a variant with a 67.1-kWh battery, which reaches 434 kilometers. That costs at least €31,495. That is also the only variant that is also available as a more luxuriously equipped Design (€32,995).
The Leapmotor B10 has a 14.6 inch infotainment screen and an extensive package of passive and active safety systems. The entry-level Life version already offers a glass panoramic roof with electric sunshade and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Design version adds artificial leather upholstery, extensive ambient lighting and electrically heated, ventilated and adjustable front seats.

More Leapmotor
The B10 is Leapmotor’s first ‘world car’. By that the company means that the B10 is its first model from ‘the B-series’, a series of models where it already takes into account export to many other markets during development, in addition to the Chinese home market. That B-series will of course consist of more models. In fact, it already exists. This electric sedan is also part of it.
