A new variant will soon be available of the Leap engine C10. It is more than two and a half times as strong as the variants you know now. We are talking about the Leap engine C10 AWD!
The Leap engine C10 is currently available with two different powertrains. The Chinese SUV that is offered in Europe through a collaboration with Stellantis is there as a 217 hp strong EV with a 69.9 kWh battery and as C10 Reev with a 215 hp electric motor, a smaller 28.4 kWh and a petrol engine that acts as a range-extender. A third powertrain will soon come to the menu of the C10: the AWD.
The Leap engine C10 AWD has, as his name suggests, four -wheel drive. It has no range extender and is therefore a traditional EV. What he does: two together 585 hp strong electric motors. With that he is more than 2.5 times as powerful as the regular electric C10. With that power, the C10 AWD beats itself from a standstill in just 4 seconds to a speed of 100 km/h.
So very fast and fast, that C10 AWD. Even more interesting is the electric reach, despite the fact that it is not yet known. The Leap engine C10 AWD does not have a 69.9 kWh battery such as the already existing fully electric version, but an 81.9 kWh large one. The action radius of the Leap engine C10 AWD – which only becomes available as richly equipped design – will therefore be far above 420 kilometers that the version with a smaller battery records behind its name.
During the Zurich Auto Show that in October in – you don’t expect it – Zurich takes place, the C10 AWD is shown to the public for the first time. Then we also hope to be able to tell you more about the reach, among other things.
