End of an era

The Mercedes-Benz B-class has disappeared from the configurator in the Netherlands and Belgium. This marks the end of the b-class’s career after three generations, with no successor.
The Disappearance of the B-Class was Already Planned and is Therefore Not A Complete Surprise, But We Can Still Descrijbe It As The End Of An Era. After all, The B-Class was in Every Way a Derivative of the Original A-Class, and Until the End, it had that typical MPV-like shape that was so characteristic of the first a-classes. Initially, this created QUITE A Special Situation, because the B-class, launched in 2004, was very close to the a-class of that time in Terms of Dimensions and concept. This improved around the appearance of the second-generation B-class, because the a-class was already the sporty hatchback that it still is today.

The First Generation B-Class (Left) and the Last
The B-Class Suddenly Became Unique and Still Found QUITE A FEW CUSTOMERS, Not Least in The Netherlands Thanks to the Police. In 2018, Law Enforcement Chose the Generation of B-Class That was Already Disappeaering, Although Many B’s of the latest Type Were later Delivered in Red/Blue Stripes. That chapter of the Mercedes-Benz B-class had Already come to an end Earlier, because the BMW X1 and Ford Kuga Are Going to Replace the Mercedes at the Police.

The B-Class Has Now Disappeared from the Dutch Configurator, But is still available from Stock. We also no longer found the model in the configurator in Belgium. In Germany it is, but the importer confirms that the disappearance of the B-class is an international decision as of the beginning of September. So over and out for this special model.
