Prices Hyundai Ioniq 9 – June 2025

Shooting at cousin Kia EV9

Hyundai Ioniq 9

Big, bigger, Hyundai Ioniq 9. AutoWeek can report the prices of the by far largest passenger car that Hyundai has ever delivered in Europe. The Hyundai Ioniq 9 has a starting price just below 68 mille.

In November of last year, Hyundai unveiled the production version of the Seven Concept: the Hyundai Ioniq 9. The Ioniq 9 is not only the largest electric Hyundai, but also simply the largest model it delivers in the Netherlands. It is a downright behemoth. The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is a cousin of the already imposing Kia EV9, but with its length of 5.06 meters, it is even longer. The wheelbase of the Ioniq 9 also surpasses that of the EV9. Between the front and rear axles of the Hyundai is 3.13 meters, three centimeters more than the Kia. The fact that the Hyundai Ioniq 9 is a cousin of the Kia EV9 does not mean that the technology is the same. The prices aren’t either. Let’s go.

Starting Price Hyundai Ioniq 9

The Hyundai Ioniq 9 has a starting price of €67,995. For that amount, the Ioniq 9 directly has a 110.3 kWh battery and a 218 hp electric motor on the rear axle. That combination is good for an electric range of 620 kilometers. That starting price of just under 68 mille applies to the Style version. The Hyundai Ioniq 9 with this powertrain is also available as Connect and Connect+. The Kia EV9 has a starting price of 60 mille and for that money offers a 76.1 kWh battery, a comparable electric motor and a range of 443 kilometers. The EV9 with the largest range (563 kilometers) has a 99.8 kWh battery and a 204 hp electric motor and costs €68,795. That variant comes closest to the entry-level version of the Ioniq 9, but is therefore more expensive and offers less power and a smaller range.

Intermediate Form

Prefer more power and four-wheel drive? That’s possible too. The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is also available with two electric motors with a combined output of 308 hp and with the same 110.3 kWh battery as the entry-level model. It has a range of 606 kilometers and costs – as Style – at least €71,995. This powertrain can also be combined with the Connect and Connect+ versions and is available as Lounge. A 308 hp Ioniq 9 zooms from standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.

Top Version

The absolute top version is only available as Lounge. We are then talking about a 429 hp version with four-wheel drive that notes a range of 600 kilometers behind its name. That is available from €81,495. This variant also thunders from standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds.

The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is standard a seven-seater. Optionally, it is available as a six-seater with more spacious seats in the back.
