Within the Renault Group, Dacia is of course the brand of sober models, but Renault itself can also do something. It sells models in various countries that would not look out of place in Europe if Dacia would. One is the Renault Triber and it is that smart cheap family car that has now been renewed.
The Dacia Duster is there as Renault, De Bigster has recently become a thoroughly adapted form such as Renault Boreal and cars such as the Sandero and Logan went through life in various South American countries such as Renault. The Renault Sandero has since been replaced by the ‘more own’ Kardian, although that hatchback is just as much Sandero as the Boreal Bigster. Other Renaults that we do not know in the Netherlands: the Grand Koleos and the triber and smaller kiger that is related to Volvo-Leest. The Renault Triber is now six years old and has now finally been refreshed.
Return back to 2019, because is a Renault triber again? The Renault Triber is a 3.99 meter long and relatively high compact crossover that with its high doors almost mpv-like. It offers space for no fewer than seven passengers. Just like the triber, the triber shares its modular platform with the even smaller Kwid, a model that you have in Europe with an electric powertrain such as the Dacia Spring. Just like De Kiger, the triber has been developed by Renault India, the Indian branch of Renault.
