The basic version of the Volvo V60 has its own price list – Back to Basics

Volvo V60 Back to Basics

The Chance is High That In A While There Won’t Be Any Volvo Station Wagons for Sale At All. Now that we still can, we quickly choose a beautiful v60, altheghe we are eSpecally curious if the basic version is really that desirable.

There are few brands as strongly associated with a body shape as volvo with the station wagon. Volvo Has Been Building Them Since the 1950S and Has Since Delivered Many Legendary Models, from the 240 to the 850 later The V70. The Current V90 and V60 Give Slightly More Priority to Appearance on Practical Convenience, But With Their Straight Roof and Sleek Design They Are Still Unmistakly Volvo Stations. The V90 is about to leave. For the narrower and, funnily enough, also more angular v60, that is not yet the case, but we probably should not expect a successor for this model either. Enjoying it while it is Still Possible is the Motto, and Fortunately This Model launched in 2018 Proves to stand the Test of Time Well.

Volvo Not Only Still Has The V60 On The Price List, But Even Uses Three Separate Price Lists For The V60. First of all, there is the price list for the plug-in hybrid, which with an electric range of up to 92 kilometers and little BPM for the Netherlands is actual the most logical choice. It is available from € 51.995. Those who don’t want to plug in have to pay extra to step into a b4 with core equipment for € 55.895, and that b4 has its own price list. The Plug-in Therefore Seems The Cheapest, But Then You Have Not Included The Essential Edition. That absolute basic version is also equipped with the mild-hybrid powertrain with 197 HP and is equally cheaper than the cheapest t6 plug-in hybrid at € 47.895.

That essential edition has its own price list and is externally indistinguishable from the much more exensive core. Both Look QUITE BASIC IN Their Basic Form, But The Standard Paint Color ‘Vapour Gray’ and the Somewhat Simple-Looking 17-inch Wheels also play a Role in this. The Window and Bumper Strips Are Always Black, because chrome (Volvo calls that ‘bright’) is only Possible on the plug-in hybrid.

Yet there are indeed differentences between the essential and the core. For Example, Volvo Has Scrapped the Electrically Operated Tailgate, The Keyless Entry Function, Illuminated Vanity Mirrors and the Parking Sensors at the Front to Get to the Entry-Level Model. Also, the cheapest v60 does not have a luggage neat and bag horser in the loading space and the rear headrests are not electric, but manuality foldable.

What Remains Then? Still QUITE A BIT. Full Led Lighting All Around, Automatic Climate Control With Two Zones, Electric Height-Adjustable Front Seats, An Automatically Dimming Interior Mirror, Adaptive Cruise Control, A Rain Sensor and A New Infotainment System Withst All Standard, forest. Where we or see Elsewhere that there are hardly any options avia -out for cheap basic versions, in this case there is still QUITE A BIT Possible. For example, you can opt for a climate package that brings steering wheeling, seat and even reear seat heating. Almost Mandatory in A Volvo, and Certainly Worth the € 695.

There are also all kinds of wheel and color options, it is Possible to add an active steering assistant and you can even have the fabric covered interior executed in the light ‘blond’ at no extra cost. Even Leather Upholstery is Possible with the Essential, Although You Pay Just Under € 1,600 Extra For That. Further Luxury, Such as a panoramic sliding roof, is not Possible with the essential and the core.
