Especially outward appearance

The Toyota Camry tame? Forget it. This is the Toyota Camry GT-S Concept!
The Toyota Camry doesn’t exactly have the image of being a sporty sedan. Yet, relatively spicy TRD versions of the previous model generation did exist. Meanwhile, there is a new generation Toyota Camry and that model also seems unable to escape the sporty dance. This is the Camry GT-S. It looks extremely strong, but doesn’t get its extra sharpness from engine power.
According to Toyota, we are dealing here with a ‘functional, rational sporty version’. The Camry GT-S Concept in these photos simply has the 232 hp strong hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive with which the car is available in, among other places, the United States. Specifically for the SEMA tuning show in Las Vegas, the sedan has been fitted with a substantial body kit. The orange coat, called Inferno Flare, gives it some extra visual impact.
The Camry GT-S Concept sits on a set of coil springs that bring the car almost four centimeters closer to the asphalt. The Toyota has extra potent braking equipment including 35.6 centimeter large brake discs at the rear and sits on 20-inch alloy wheels. Whether a production version will come remains to be seen, but Toyota repeatedly states that it has reinvented the ‘iconic sports sedan’ in its own way. “Exciting design, practical to use, and ready for the road,” according to Toyota.
The current generation Toyota Camry, unlike its predecessor, is not for sale in the Netherlands.
