The slightly larger cousin of the Volvo EX30 is becoming more affordable. We are talking about the eccentrically styled Zeekr X. The starting price of that electric crossover is dropping by a few thousand euros, AutoWeek can report before Zeekr publicizes it themselves.
The Zeekr X began its Dutch sales adventure with a starting price of €45,490. For that amount, you got a 272 hp rear-wheel-drive variant with the largest ‘Long Range’ battery. Earlier this year, the starting price of the Zeekr X dropped considerably. The electric SUV has recently become available as Core RWD with the same 272 hp electric motor, but with a smaller battery. That variant costs a minimum of €38,990 in the Netherlands. Now, an even cheaper variant is coming.
Meet the Zeekr X Core Business Edition. It also has the 272 hp electric motor and the ‘small’ 49 kWh battery. It is only available (without extra charge) in the ‘colors’ Grid Grey and Onyx Black. The regular Core version is available without extra charge in the color Crystal White, a color that the Business Edition cannot be obtained in. For Grid Grey and Onyx Black, you pay an additional €1,200 with the regular Core version. You will miss the heated steering wheel that you do find in the regular Cora flavor.
