The powertrain consists of a 143 hp 1.5-four-cylinder and a 199 hp strong electric motor, resulting in a system power of 225 hp. For comparison: the plug-in hybrid makes it a system power of 272 hp. Moreover, you can drive up to 100 km (WLTP) electrically and with the Hybrid+ they are of course only short pieces.
The average consumption of the MG HS Hybrid+ is 5.6 l/100 km (WLTP) and 0 to 100 km/h is squeaked in 7.9 seconds. Incidentally, MG reports a luggage space of 507 liters for the Hybrid+ and that is the same as that of the plug-in. The maximum towing weight is set at 1,500 kilos.
The MG HS Hybrid+ becomes a battle cheaper than the plug-in hybrid. The difference with the cheapest versions is more than four mille.
