More power for more money

The new Renault Clio is about to set foot on Dutch soil. AutoWeek has the prices of the new Renault Clio. The starting price of the new generation is slightly higher than that of the previous model.
The starting price of the new Renault is €26,990. For that amount you drive the Clio with a 115 hp 1.2 petrol engine. That entry-level price belongs to a Clio that is executed as Evolution. The Clio with this petrol engine is also available as Techno and then costs €28,990. This petrol engine is currently only available in combination with a manual six-speed gearbox. The previous generation Renault Clio was available from €25,490, although for that money you got a copy with a 90 hp 1.0.
For the time being, the only other powertrain on the price list of the new Renault Clio is the Full Hybrid E-Tech 160. That hybrid machine can be combined with the Evolution, Techno and Esprit Alpine versions and is available from €28,990. The previous generation Clio was available as a 143 hp hybrid from €26,890. The new Renault Clio was also presented at its debut with a 120 hp petrol engine that also likes LPG. Renault is still silent about the arrival of that powertrain to the Dutch delivery range of the Clio.
