The electric Renault 5 E-Tech is already quite the attention-grabber. But it can be even more exuberant. For example, what do you think of this playfully and ruggedly styled Renault 5?
The rugged Renault 5 E-Tech Electric in these digital drawings doesn’t come from Renault itself, but is a virtual creation from off-road specialist Delta4x4. However, it doesn’t have four-wheel drive.
What the design study does have: 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires in the size 255/55, modified suspension that raises the car 10 centimeters higher, and sturdy extended wheel arches. To complete the picture, the digital tinkerers at Delta4x4 have equipped the Renault 5 with a roof rack and sticker work that exudes an 80s vibe.
With the rugged-looking Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, Delta4x4 says it wants to see what it could all do with the electric R5 later. Will it go into production? That’s not yet certain, but where there’s a will, there’s a way. Or, in the words of Delta4x4: ‘If there is enough enthusiasm, dreams come true.’ If the dream turns out not to be a deception, then according to Delta4x4 you should expect a price of €15,000 to €20,000 for converting a Renault 5.
