Slightly more expensive, but also more luxurious
The firmly tightened Toyota Corolla Cross has a Dutch price tag. The car is becoming more expensive, but the difference is not that great and Toyota is also offering something in return.
The Toyota Corolla Cross is not only cosmetically, but also technically adjusted. The most striking difference is that the Hybrid 200 powertrain of the past is making way for the Hybrid 180. That’s right: it is therefore less powerful. According to Toyota, this makes hardly any difference to the performance and the brand new price list confirms this. The secretly 178 hp Hybrid 180 sprints from 0 to 100 in 7.7 seconds, just like the 198 hp Hybrid 200 of yesteryear. However, the new version is slightly more economical, with a factory consumption of 5.0 instead of 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
The Hybrid 140 remains available, but this variant also officially consumes 0.1 liters less every 100 kilometers. In terms of versions, there are two striking differences. The first is the arrival of a GR Sport, which distinguishes itself with a clearly differently designed front and replaces the middle Style version with the most powerful engine. The Hybrid 140 Style also disappears, but there is no replacement to be seen here.

More Luxurious
Since the Style was previously the most luxurious variant for this engine, Hybrid 140 buyers will now have to be more modest when it comes to luxury. Although: on closer inspection of the price list, it turns out that it is not that bad. For example, the Corolla Cross now has standard LED headlights and seat heating for the first time, and that already justifies the slight price increase. An electric tailgate and steering wheel heating are also coming into the picture earlier.
