The Toyota Corolla Cross comes in various visual styles, including the sporty-looking GR Sport. You’ve probably never seen the popular SUV as rugged as the Toyota Corolla Cross Nasu Edition!
Relatively basic and ‘normal’ models that are heavily styled are often remarkable. Just look at this crazy Dacia Duster Redust or these heavily enhanced versions of the Dacia Bigster. This time we have a very wild Toyota Corolla Cross on offer. It’s called the Toyota Corolla Cross Nasu Edition and will debut in early November during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The Toyota Corolla Cross Nasu Edition is named after Japan’s Mount Nasu, an active volcanic area in Japan. The Corolla Cross Nasu Edition should at least be able to handle itself in that mountainous terrain, according to Toyota’s department that developed the car. It has four-wheel drive, sits on all-terrain tires, and stands significantly higher on its legs than a standard Corolla Cross thanks to a thoroughly modified suspension. Furthermore, we see modified bumpers, a hood with an air scoop, a roof luggage rack, and special alloy wheels.
The Corolla Cross Nasu Edition seems to be primarily a show car for the SEMA Show and serves there as a showcase for the creativity of Toyota’s Service Parts and Accessories Development (SPAD) department.
